Hi I’m Janine, Interior Designer and founder of Ophelia Sage Design
I've always had a keen interest in Interior Design and after completing my own renovations and then a full knock down re-build, I decided to leave the corporate world behind and follow my passion. I studied with the Interior Design Institute, achieving a Diploma of Interior Design and subsequently launched Ophelia Sage Design.
Ophelia Sage Design is an Interior Design studio based in Brisbane, with an emphasis in Biophilic Design, the practice of connecting people and nature within our built environments. Focused on helping people create their dream home, with style, ease, budget, and practicality in mind. We offer a full range of Interior Design Services and can assist with a single room re-style, partial home renovations, or a complete new build.
Through an initial questionnaire and subsequent face to face consultation, we’ll understand your needs, how you like to live, determine your preferred style, and work with you to establish what items should stay, what should go, what should be added, and bring it all together in a cohesive style that works for you. Design isn’t about just copying images from design websites and magazines for a cookie cutter result, it makes the most of your current setting and is a platform to honestly represent the people who live there…. You! That’s why we don’t want to remove all the items that make your house a home, the treasured items that represent the memories of the life you’ve lived to date, we work with you to create your dream home, a home you can be proud of, and is a reflection of who you are.
