Knock Down Re-Build, Camp Hill
The brief was to help create a welcoming family home that fostered connectivity while allowing for moments of privacy and retreat. With a focus on cultivating a "Relaxed, Coastal, Oasis" ambiance, every detail from fixtures and fittings to colours and furniture were meticulously chosen. Biophilic Design played a key role, incorporating a thoughtfully curated selection of natural materials, abundant indoor plants (both real and faux), and strategic window placements to establish a seamless connection between the indoors and the outdoors. This design approach embraces the home's natural surroundings while ensuring privacy remains intact. Enhancing airflow and promoting a connection to nature, an opening skylight above the stairs and louvres above the front door were incorporated, simultaneously providing cooling benefits during summer while prioritising security.
